60% of Duct and Chamber Maps completed - fantastic job Nick, David and Jerry!

Pete Simm would like to thank everyone who came to the Duct mapping training on July 12th. Pete's expectations were that everyone would be able to produce the tube maps using simple means of coloured pens on paper. But with the need for a complete set of duct maps to be available to the contractor before digging starts in August 😬, once again technology has swept away the cottage industry approach. Sarah Pollitt (B4RN) arranged for PowerPoint templates to be available for those who could use this approach and it has proved to be an extraordinarily fast way of preparing the map for each of the chambers. So fast that the 'PowerPoint' team have already completed at least 60% of the total and are powering towards completion. Fantastic job Nick, David and Jerry!🦸‍♂️🦸‍♂️🦸‍♂ The training is not wasted for we have all increased our knowledge of the way that our fibre network is put together which will be helpful into the future. As one individual said to Pete " ... it was worth coming to the training just for the cake ..." And you can find the recipes for the Gingercake and Flapjacks on our blog 😋
