Week 4, Day 14, Sept 5th - Low Fold and Cock Hag

Steve and his ploughs have arrived at Low Fold - where I found them doing what they do best, digging duct under roads and walls, while expertly managing multitudes of large rocks.

Who would know that there is duct under this road - the Low Fold chamber is the give away.

Steve is using two ploughs to thread the fibre duct under road and stone wall whilst managing the inevitable large boulders of rocks. No wonder that B4RN's competitors have not wanted to lay fibre along Crook Route 1 -  it takes the right machinery with expert operators.

If you want to visit the plough this week (September 5th - 9th) then take a walk or ride up to Low Fold, then the foot path through the farmyard towards High Leys and Crook Hall and over to Catherine's tower.
