Dig Day gathering, celebrating Build Status for Crook Project!

Wednesday 10th August saw a special gathering at the Memorial Hall for the Crook project Build Status ‘Dig Day’.

Project volunteers, B4RN staff and CEO Michael Lee, County Councillors Jim Bland and Steve Bavin, members of the Parish Council and the Memorial Hall committee gathered to celebrate achieving Build Status and getting it underway with a fibre cutting ceremony.

Outside, the location of the cabinet was ideal for some symbolic spade work by the volunteer dig and fit team,  B4RN staff and Barny the #teamB4RN dog.

Dig day
was an opportunity for everyone to
meet one another, put faces to names and enjoy lots of sandwiches and cake.
