Digging Route 4, blowing fibre on Route 1 and cabinet in place ...

Steve Foster is making great progress digging duct along Route 4, undeterred by the wet and soggy conditions.

Work began on September 29th in warm autumn sunshine. Rather different from this week's downpour- but no fears for the Crook project timeline as Steve Foster is ploughing on in all weathers!

And a lot of other activity has happened while I was on holiday - captured on camera by Andy, Pippa and Dave.

On September 27th, the cabinet was put in-place at Memorial Hall ...

And blowing fibre has started - these photos taken by Andy B as
🐳 fibre filled the ducting on Route 1.

Yesterday, October 4th, the B4RN engineers were out blowing fibre along Route 1 -  and they were not hanging about.

10.45 am -  3 houses at Broom Farm just got fibre connected from chamber to the houses. Really quick process (20 mins) in quite frankly miserable conditions!

11.38 am - next stop Chamber 103 and High Leys

2.57 pm - all except Cock Hagg blown at CK103, but a slight problem with Cock Hagg, not helped by torrential rain, so abandoned until a better day.

All properties are done on CK1, except Cock Hagg, Whinpot & the 2 at Redscar.

And the house Dig and Fix team have been busy too. Crook Hall is ready to go!. You will know if your house is ready to be connected when you spot the little box on your house that says "B4RN" on it 😀
